While the CC8S is undoubtedly a fine supercar, it's performance claims proved a little optimistic when put to independent tests. So to restore their name to the top of the performance tree Koenigsegg have unleashed the astounding CCR. If the CC8S' 655bhp was too feeble for you, supercharger tweaks have released no less than 806bhp in the CCR, not to mention the near 700lbft of torque! The racing nature of this missile is continued with the fitment of a torque sensing LSD, plus fully adjustable dampers and cockpit adjustable ride height
The CCR briefly claimed the title of the world's fastest production car with an independently clocked 242mph before being ousted by the Veyron. However, Koenigsegg can lay claim to the recently set outright fastest top speed during a lap of the famous Nurburgring - an amazing 194mph!
