Debuting at the 2004 British Motor Show, the new TSO from specialist manufacturer Marcos signals the company's return to the supercar ranks.
The 475bhp V8 in the 'Performance Pack' RT spec model is courtesy of the Chevrolet Corvette. This power, along with the TSO's lightweight carbon fibre chassis and GRP bodywork, thrusts the convertible to 100mph in just over 9 seconds then on to a maximum speed in excess of 185mph.
For £45,000 the RT spec model also offers sports suspension, lowered ride height and a 6-speed manual 'box. A further £4000 gets you the 'Handling Pack' with enhanced suspension and bigger wheels and tyres. Unfortunately just a handful were sold due to poor quality and woeful reliability.
