Profile |
|
Although not an official Ferrari offering, the striking 550LM road car has all the power and presence of the Le Mans race car on which it is based.
ES Motorsports take a stock 550 Maranello, rip out the superfluous electrics, add some carbon fibre body panels and spoilers then breathe another 55bhp into the magical V12. The result is an aggressive 537bhp road racer, 300Kg lighter than the donor 550, with AP racing brakes and monumental downforce.
All this will set you back around £160k (and that included the cost of the base 550 Maranello). It may not have Maranello's endorsement but I bet they wish they'd thought of it first!
