The 996 Turbo S signals a marvellous final fling for Porsche's outgoing 996 coupe. The 'S' is basically the equivalent of the 996 Turbo but with the 450bhp X50 Power Pack and awesome PCCB carbon brakes as standard. Performance is marginally up on the standard model, particularly in the mid range where it makes full use of the additional 30bhp.
£100,000 is the price for the current king of the 911s, until the keenly anticipated 997 Turbo (with an estimated 500bhp) hits the street in 2006.
