If you're after classic sportscar looks but with modern, reliable performance then Wiesmann can offer you the lot in the form of their MF3 Roadster. Complementing their GT Coupe, the roadster also derives it's power from a BMW engine, in this case the 338bhp 6-cyl from the outgoing M3.
The car is built to very high standards, especially commendable considering the low volume nature of this specialist German coachbuilder. Ride is superb, even on the unfeasibly low profile 25 section tyres wrapped around the huge 20 inch optional alloys. All considered, £60,000 seems like a bit of a bargain!.
Sadly Wiessmann filed for bankruptcy in 2013 and ceased operation in 2014.
