The second generation (B7) Audi RS4 now provides a genuine alternative to the class leading BMW M3 super saloon. Power is up to 414bhp (bordering on the magical 100bhp/Litre) delivered at a screaming 7800rpm - good enough for a sub 5 sec 0-60mph sprint.
The RS4's sporting intent in signalled by the rear-biased limited slip diff and the tempting 'sport' button on the dash which sharpens up responses for true sportscar handling. Fortunately, this racecar performance doesn't come at the cost of reliability, as the RS4 has an incredible 20,000 mile service interval.
