Profile |
|
The CSR260 is Caterham's idea of a more usable 7 for the road but still with ballistic performance. It's practicality takes the form of a wider body for a more roomier interior and even a decent boot. As a consequence, handling is not quite in the R500 league but by all other standards still superb.
The 260bhp 2.3L Cosworth powerplant rockets the Caterham to 60mph in just 3.4sec, with the 0-100-0mph benchmark despatched in a neck straining 11.6sec.
£38,000 gets you one of the fastest cars on the road, or save £6k and build it yourself!
