Profile |
|
Formerly the world's fastest road car around the Nurburgring, the amazing teacart GT Street is one of the best handling supercars you can buy. The tuner's favourite, the Porsche 997 Turbo, forms the basis of the GT but with power heaved up to 660bhp and torque to a mighty 860 Nm. A genuine 208mph is the result. When that kind of performance is combined with 1.3g of cornering force and the removal of Porsche's PSM stability system, then a 7:40 lap of the Nurburgring is the result! Bodywork is more aggressive than on the 911 equivalent and the whole vehicle sits lower for an overall more impressive stance.
Considering how much you would have to spend elsewhere to get this level of performance, the £120,000 that Techart ask for the GT Street seems incredible value for money.
