Profile |
|
Perhaps the ultimate incarnation of the Evo VIII, the FQ400 really stretches it's 2 litres to the limit with a staggering 405bhp! This power is not just the result of a new boost chip. The whole car has been engineered to take the extra power with a bespoke turbo, new manifold, clutch and Alcon brakes; it even comes complete with a 3 year warranty!
As you'd expect performance is phenomenal. 60mph arrives from rest in just 3.6sec, a match for just about any supercar on the road, on it's way to a 175mph top speed. The 400 is visually similar to the standard Evo apart from a carbon splitter and roof mounted 'air fins'. At £47000 new it's not cheap, and in real world terms it's not much faster it's cheaper stablemates, but it is certainly FQ for the money!
