Having just retaken the Nurburgring lap record in a scarcely believable 6min 55sec (and an even faster 6:48 in LM spec), the Radical SR8 must surely be the world's fastest road legal circuit car. As with all Radicals, the SR8 is powered by a motorbike engine but this time it is a fusion of two Suzuki (No Suggestions) units providing a total of 360bhp. The resulting 660bhp/ton power to weight goes a long way to explaining the Radical's performance, but it is more thanks to it's chassis and downforce that it is able to generate such unbelievable cornering speeds.
Some may question it's status as a road car, but as it stands there is no quicker way to lap the track of your choice, and all for just £60000.
