Profile |

With the mighty Grand Cherokee SRT-8, Chrysler are vying for the title of world's fastest 4X4 with Dodge's Ram SRT-10 and Porsche's Cayenne Turbo. The WK model's 420bhp is thanks to the 6 litre V8 from Chrysler's desirable 300C flagship. This gives the 2 tonne leviathan an astonishing 0-60mph time of under 5 seconds! Cornering is equally surprising, with 0.90g generated on the handling circuit, courtesy of lowered ride height and stiffened suspension.
It may be one of the worlds fastest SUVs but you'd be surprised to learn that it is one of the worlds most environmentally friendly vehicles (when taking into consideration the manufacturing life-cycle involved).
