The M power Z4 Coupe and Roadster offer you the choice of the convertible's visual appeal or the practicality and rigidity of a fixed roof coupe. A healthy 338bhp is provided by the M3's 3.2L straight six, powering the Z4 from 0-60mph in under 5 seconds.
Performance is certainly respectable, but the Z4's forte is it's handling. The car has been transformed into a real drivers tool to rival not only the Porsche Cayman and Boxster, but even it's big brother the 911.
At £41,000 the Coupe is around £3,000 more expensive than it's Roadster sibling, but the added handling and sheer good looks more than justify the extra cost.
Succeeded in 2009 by the next generation E89 model.
