A genuine surprise at the 2004 Detroit auto show, the awesome ME Four-Twelve promised shattering performance from its Mercedes sourced AMG quad turbo V12. Power output of 850bhp and 850lbft of torque suggested 0-60mph in 2.9sec, a standing qtr in 10.6sec and an unbelievable 248mph top speed!
After the two concept vehicles were produced by a small team in record time, Chrysler intended to begin full production of 300 units per year. Alas, the project was cancelled due to clashes with Mercedes management over comparissons with their SLR McLaren.
