Although still based on a 911, the new Ruf CTR-3 is more Ruf than Porsche. The 997 is the starting point but the CTR-3 is hardly recognisable with it's sweeping carbonfibre bodywork and mid mounted flat-6, now producing 690bhp and 657 lbft of torque. This makes it the fastest Ruf to date at a sensational 234mph.
Annual production will be limited to just 20 examples, each costing their incredibly lucky owners a shade over £250,000. Cheaper (and faster) than a Carrera GT ! |
