To their great credit, Isdera turned the Mercedes C111 from concept car into production reality in the form of the Imperator 108i. All the original's styling tweaks were there such as the gull wing doors and 'periscope' rear mirror. The Mercedes connection continued with the S-Class' 6 litre V8 endowing the Imperator with a 5 sec 0-60mph time and 181mph max.
Around 30 Imperators were produced during the nine year production run.
