Despite being based in Switzerland, the enemy of all things 4-wheeled, Beck have created one of the world's fastest and most powerful sports cars in the shape of the LM800.
Power is provided by a twin turbo Audi V8, extensively tuned by MTM to produce up to 1000bhp. This colossal energy sits within an F1 style carbon/kevlar monocoque with an all in weight of just 900kg. The result is a staggering 1129bhp/ton - twice that of a Veyron! Drive transmitted via a unique 7-speed sequential gearbox through an active suspension system for the ultimate in handling. Performance is naturally out of this world. Beck claim 0-60mph in under 3 sec and 0-125mph in under 8.
It's expensive at £305000, but not prohibitively so considering the unbelievable performance on offer, and the price of rivals from Caparo, Bugatti and Koenigsegg. |
