Profile

However wrong it seems to badge an SUV with the legendary 'M' badge, BMW have produced a balistically fast, luxurious and profitable road car. The 4.4L V8 from the current M3 is dropped into the X6 to produce a mammoth 547bhp and 502lbft of torque. Despite the 2.3 ton weight, the X6M sees 60mph in under 5 seconds and up to 171mph (with sport pack) - close enough to worry many a supercar. This power doesn't come cheap though, with prices starting at 77k in the UK.

Cars such as this would not normally class as sports cars let alone supercars, but with performance to match a Ferrari Testarossa, there's no denying that it justifies it's place in the SupercarWorld database.
