Some may say that at £130,000 the new 911 GT2 is overpriced. Well, just consider for a moment that give or take a few tenths of a second, this 911 is as fast as the legendary Carrera GT, which by the way, retailed for a whole lot more.
Aimed at the fast road user, rather than the trackday biased GT3 RS market, the GT2 is a whole lot more appealing than in it's previous generation 996 guise. 530bhp has been (relatively) tamed, so it can be exploited without fear of landing in a hedge. I's also one of the best looking 911's for a while, especially in the ubiquitous white paint finish.
An altogether excellent car which takes the fight to it's natural rivals the Gallardo LP560-4 and Ferrari 430 Scuderia.
