First shown to an eager public in 2009, the amazing One-77 is, according to the manufacturer, the ultimate expression of what Aston Martin can achieve.
A carbon fibre monocoque chassis and gorgeous aluminium body help to produce a kerb weight of just 1500Kg. Add a powerful 750bhp V12 fed through a 6-speed paddle shift gearbox and you have an Aston Martin with close to 500bhp/ton! As you’d expect, this makes for stunning performance. Expect a 0-60mph sprint in under 3.5 sec, with a top speed around 220 mph.
As the name implies, just 77 of these mobile works of art will be built. Unfortunately each will cost prospective customers well over £1m - but if you are thinking of buying, too late, they have all found willing owners. Proof that in the world of the super rich. CC stands for cubic centimetres not credit crunch!
