Noble has a history of making fast, exciting supercars, but with a raw character and debatable looks. That has now changed. The new M600 not only pushes performance to a staggering new level (0-60mph in under 3 seconds, 225mph max) but now offers a civilised driving experience and aggressive good looks the equal of it's Italian and German peers.
Ford's PAG group supply the 4.4L twin turbo V8, with a 'basic' 662bhp (potentially 750bhp) and a whopping 604lb/ft of torque. The M600's weight also puts it's rivals to shame, coming in at a paltry 1250Kg for a superb 550bhp/tonne (a match for the Bugatti Veyron).
Despite it's many positive points, the Noble's asking price could be a major stumbling block. £200k+ seems a lot to ask compared with the rock solid and equally desirable alternatives from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche. Only time will tell.
