The latest in an illustrious line to wear the GTO badges, the 599 GTO is the road going version of Ferrari's track only 599XX.
Designed primarily as a track tool, the GTO gains 50bhp and loses 100Kg over the GTB, resulting in an impressive 420 bhp/ton power to weight ratio. As you'd expect, suspension is firm, making road work more of an ordeal than in the GTB. But the GTO comes alive on the track, blasting round Ferrari's Fiorano test circuit in just 1min 24 sec - faster than an Enzo.
Appropriately, just 599 will be made at an eye watering £300k each. A hefty sum, but consider what has happened to the values of the other Ferrari GTOs.
