Each and every production LF-A is hand built to extremely high standards by Lexus engineers. The unique lightweight carbon fibre reinforced plastic body is mated to a compact normally aspirated V10 producing over 560 bhp with a screaming 9000 rpm redline. The 6 speed automated sequential gearbox with 7 selectable shift speeds offers 4 driving modes - normal, wet, sport and a full auto. Two piece carbon disc brakes with 6-pot callipers up front are fitted as standard. With extensive development at the Nurburgring, the LF-A has the handling to match it’s awesome performance, while the cockpit exudes luxury, technology and quality throughout.
500 LF-As are to be built at the surprisingly high price of £330,000 in the UK.
Despite the bespoke nature of the LF-A, it is hard to justify this price against far cheaper and in some ways more capable rivals.
