Lamborghini could well have named their new junior supercar `Marmite', as it has certainly polarised opinion in the motoring world.
Some say the Huracan is too safe and sanitised so to appeal to a wider market, and that it is lacks the excitement and ultimate precision of rivals from Ferrari, Porsche and McLaren. SupercarWorld do not agree! To us, this is the best looking Lamborghini in years, with compact aggressive styling and a hi-tech interior to die for. Then there is the performance. In recent independent tests, the Huracan shot from 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds on to a standing quarter in a scarcely believable 10.4 seconds, faster than all but a handful of million pound hypercars.
There is probably truth is both sides of the argument, but one thing is for sure, we will be rushing to be head of the queue when they announce a lightweight, track focused Huracan SV.
