The gorgeous 4C puts Alfa Romeo right back where it belongs after 30 years in the sportscar wilderness.
Power is courtesy of a 240bhp straight four. That may not sound like much but Alfa have incorporated numerous weight saving measures to enable the 4C to tip the scales at just 925 kg. The result is an impressive 264 bhp/ton (and 283 lbft/ton of torque), giving the 4C wonderful handling and a sub 5 second sprint to 60mph, and all this while returning over 40mpg on the combined cycle.
One of the most beautifully styled cars of any decade, the 4C is just about the most desirable sports car on the market. This is reflected in the £20,000 premium over list that is being charged for new models.
