Inspired by Aston's GT3 racer, the hardcore Vantage GT12 bridges the gap between road and track car.
The already rapid Vantage S forms the starting point for the GT12, with it's 6 litre V12 fettled to almost 600bhp. 0-60mph arrives in an estimated 3.5 seconds with a 185mph max. The GT12 is easily distinguished from it's stablemates by the extensive aerodynamic bodywork and spoilers, all made from hi-tech lightweight materials that contribute to a significant 150Kg weight saving over the Vantage S. Track is widened and suspension stiffened to augment the car's track biased character.
Just 100 GT12s will be built at a not unreasonable cost of £250,000. Don't bother enquiring though, as they were all sold days after the first announcement.
