Inspired by the legendary F1 GTR `Longtail`, the 675LT is McLaren's most focused drivers car to date.
Acceleration is staggering, thanks to a lightweight body, powered by a 666bhp Twin Turbo V8, channelled through a superfast dual clutch gearbox. 60mph is despatched from rest in under 3 seconds, but more telling is the 0-200kmh time of just 7.9 sec, bettered by only a handful of hugely expensive hypercars. State of the art aerodynamics contribute to a 40% increase in downforce over any other McLaren road car, giving exceptional handling. The `longtail` itself is just 3cm longer than the 650s, so whether it deserves that fabled badging is up for debate!
Exclusivity is assured as only 500 LT's will be built. Price is over £60k more than the already excellent 650s, so it remains to be seen if this constitutes real value for money.
