The striking Trident Iceni, with it's unique double bubble rear aspect, was first shown as a concept at the 1998 Birmingham Motor Show. Fast forward almost 20 years where we arrive at the current Iceni road car, claimed to be the world's fastest diesel supercar.
Trident create a number of components in house, such as the 6-speed gearbox and superstrong stainless steel chassis. They employ a unique 'torque multiplication' system to optimise the performance efficiency of the bio-diesel engine, all the way up to the 190mph top speed.
Up to 660bhp and 1050 lbft of torque are potentially available through the performance package upgrade. Also offered are 'Track', 'Luxury' and 'Premium' upgrade packs, all in addition to the base £100k cost.
