The awesome GT3 RS 4.0 is the final fling for the 997 generation 911 and is, in many peoples opinion, perhaps the ultimate road going 911. Influenced by the 997 GT2 RS and RSR racecar, the 4.0 RS unsurprisingly sports a 4 litre powerplant. With almost 500bhp, this is one of the most powerful 6 cylinder naturally aspirated engines around. Performance is stunning but handling is on a different planet, with a sub 7min 30sec Nurburgring lap. Braking is also legendary, the RS beat Bugatti and Koenigsegg in a recent test from 300kmh-0.
Rumour has it that Porsche (intentionally) did not make a profit on the 600 units produced. Unfortunately that doesn't translate into reasonable second hand values, as 4.0L RS's are now changing hands for a staggering £350,000 pounds. Oh, and you can have any colour you like - as long as it is black or white!
