Profile |
|
Originally a Ferrari Enzo, the stunning P4/5 was transformed by Ferrari's One-Off project team into a unique hypercar for the celebrated car enthusiast James Glickenhaus.
Unveiled at Pebble Beach in 2006, the P4/5's carbon fibre reinforced plastic Pininfarina bodywork has echoes of classic Ferrari P series racecars of 60s (albeit with the addition of butterfly doors). The look is completed with bespoke 20 inch alloys riding on 30 profile tyres at the rear.
The Enzo's V12 has been tweaked to 660bhp and weight cropped by an impressive 270Kg, dropping the 0-60mph sprint by a few tenths, but with a dramatic top speed increase up to 233mph.
At a cost of $4 million, this kind of project is the reserve of the super rich. But lets be thankful that they are around so we can all enjoy these spectacular unique creations.
