Profile

The seventh generation of the classic Porsche 911 Turbo arrived in 2013 with a totally revised platform over the outgoing 997.

The Turbo now features a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (PDK in Porsche speak) which helps rocket the all wheel drive 991 to 60mph in an amazing 2.9 seconds. Top speed is now a whisker under 200mph. The Turbo certainly handles well but not quite in the league of it's GT3 stablemate. But they are intended for a different audience. The GT3 is the hardcore drivers car, while the Turbo is the (extremely) rapid road car. You'd certainly be happy with either!

Successive 911 Turbos have long been referred to as the ultimate 'real world' everyday supercar. The 991 version continues this tradition, and then some. Just over £100k puts you in the drivers seat.

Turbo was revised for the 2016 model year with power boost to 533 bhp and marginal performance gains.
