Originally produced in 2010 as a one off special order, the TZ3 was based on Alfa's 8C Competizione, marking their centenary as a car maker. However, a further nine examples were then created, this time based on the mighty Dodge Viper ACR-X, but with sweeping carbonfibre bodywork by famed Italian coachbuilders Zagato (complete with trademark 'double bubble' roof). This meant 640bhp and almost 600lbft of torque from the huge 8.4 litre V10, producing an 11 second quarter mile, 185mph top speed and potential Viper matching 7 minute 12 sec Nurburgring lap time.
As you'd expect of a car where only nine examples were produced, asking price is astronomical. On the rare occasion that a TZ3 comes up for sale, expect to pay something not far south of half a million pounds.
