Profile

Introduced at the 2008 Paris motor show, the striking Citroen GT concept was produced in collaboration with Japanese gaming company Polyphony Digital, for inclusion in the popular video game Gran Turismo 5.

The GT is not just a simulation but a 'real life' car, featuring a 646bhp Ford V8, that was run at the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The striking bespoilered body was not just for show, the GT actually featured advanced aerodynamics such as a flat undertray and mobile diffuser to provide substantial downforce.

A very limited production run was once considered for the GT, but there has been no sign of progress over the last few years.
