Audi's RS7 Sportback combines luxury, technology and earth shattering performance at a not unreasonable £85k in the UK. A £7k premium gets you the 'Performance' edition, with larger wheels, bespoke interior and (best of all) increased power output to almost 600bhp. When transmitted through Audi's 'Quattro' 4-wheel drive system, the RS6 is catapulted to 60mph in a supercar slaying 3.5 seconds, with a restricted 190mph max. Power like this normally results in poor economy, but the RS7's cylinder activation technology helps return a respectable 30mpg average.
The RS7 is crammed full of the latest technology. Features include head up display, lane assist, adaptive cruise, dynamic ride control, dynamic steering and Intelligent LED headlamps that adapt to the surrounding lighting conditions. To cope with the Audi's power (and 2 ton weight )20 inch carbon ceramic brakes are available as an option.
