Profile |

The curiously entitled GTC4 Lusso revives a classic name from the 1960s in Ferrari's replacement for the FF.
The incoming model features Four wheel drive (from the FF), Four wheel steering (from the F12 TDF) and four seats (lots of fours then), along with a retrimmed interior sporting a ten inch touchscreen with secondary passenger display. The restyled bodywork features beautiful new tail lamps, but still has that arward Lotus Elite style cut off tailgate carried over from the FF. The good news is that the 6.3 litre V12 now kicks out an impressive 680bhp, dropping the GTC4s 0-60mph time by almost half a second through the silky smooth dual clutch gearbox. However, the relative lack of torque means you have to pile on the revs to make rapid progress.
Unfortunately at almost a quarter of a million pounds, the GTC4 Lusso cannot be considered value for money, when rivals from the likes of Aston Martin and Bentley undercut the (admittedly superior) Ferrari by so much.
