The new Huayra BC (being the initials of Pagani's very first customer) adds more urge to the already magnificant Huayra.
The AMG sourced V12 now produces around 789bhp in the BC, a modest 69bhp increase but the accompanying 135kg weight saving is probably the more significant factor. A new titanium exhaust system, aerospace inspired aluminium suspension and lightweight carbon ceramic brakes all contribute towards the mere 1218kg kerb weight. Still no dual clutch transmission (considered too heavy), but a revamped AMT gearbox produces superfast shifts nonetheless. A new active electronic differential, high downforce aerodynamics and sticky P Zero Corsa tyres set new standards in grip and handling over the aready class leading Huayra.
Despite the £2 million asking price, all 20 coupes were sold out befoe customers had even seen them. The clamour for the proposed Roadster model will no doubt be equally as fervent, for what is most probably the world's most desirable hypercar.
