British sportscar startup Arash first came to promenance with their stunning one-off AF10, a Porsche GT1 racecar recreation. Now with the lauch of the AF8, founder Arash Farboud hopes to establish the company in the mainstream supercar market.
Powered by a 560bhp 7-litre V8, the AF8 is propelled to a top speed of 200mph. Thanks to an impressive 1200kg kerb weight, the 0-60mph sprint is despateched in a mere 3.5 seconds. The compact high downforce body features a carbon reinforced roll cage, while massive 345 section rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres offer state of the art grip for fast road and track work.
The AF8 is available in Cassini, Falcon and Launch Editions (the latter with enhanced splitters and rear wing) and priced from £168k plus options. Only time will tell if it's rarity tempts buyers away from extablished rivals such as Porsche, McLaren and Noble.
