Mercedes SLC compact roadster replaces the outgoing SLK from 2016. Out goes the V8 from the SLK, replaced by a twin-turbo V6 in the SLC, however performance remains on a par, with 0-60mph in the mid 4s and a limited 155mph max. The smooth automatic gearbox has no less than 9 speeds.
The exterior styling and interior trim have been refreshed and economy and emissions significantly improved (the SLC now emits just 178g/Km CO2, in a 370hp car!).
At just £48k, the new model is a whopping £10k less than the SLK.
