AC cars returned to the supercar market with the introduction of the stylish 378 GT at the 2012 Geneva Motor show.
The 378 is styled by famed Italian coachbuilders Zagato (based on the Perana concept) and assembled in South Africa by Hi-Tech Automotive, the people behind the Superformance Le Mans Coupe. 0-60mph in 3.9 sec and a 186mph max are claimed for the 6.2 litre V8 from Chevrolet. This is a pure drivers car, bereft of any electronic aids such as traction or stability control and even ABS.
This extremely rare coupe was yours from around £90000 in the european market. Just seven examples were imported into the USA to 2013, and just 15 were produced in total.
