Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, the beautiful Alfieri concept celebrated Maerati's 100th anniversary in 2014.
Named after one of the founding Maserati brothers, the Alfieri is mechanically based on the Grandturismo MC Stradale, with a 460bhp V8 from Ferrari. The design of this 2+2 grand tourer was inspired by the classic Pininfarina lines of the A6 GCS/54 from the 1950s. The svelte exterior theme continues into the high quality, leather lined interior. A simple, uncluttered design housing state of the art instrumentation, enhanced with solid aluminium accents.
Production as a 4WD V6 was first penciled in for 2016, but the Levante SUV took priority, pushing the Alfieri back to 2020. With gorgeous good looks and Maserati's long and illustrious heritage, it will be well worth the wait.
