At 800hp (or 789bhp) the new 812 Superfast is Ferrari's most powerful series production car ever, and the most powerful normally aspirated V12 they have yet produced.
Following on from the F12, the 812 is not only faster than it's predecessor but also eclipses the recent limited edition TDF. Engine capacity is up to 6.5 litres, enabling a 0-100kmh sprint in under 3 seconds, on to a 212mph max. Ferrari have incorporated state of the art technology into the 812, including side slip control (as in the 488), PCV virtual short wheelbase (from the TDF) and for the first time, electric power steering.
Bodywork is more angular and aggressive with active flaps to provide downforce or lower drag as necessary. The interior takes cues from the La Ferrari, with driver focused controls that appear to 'float' from the dashboard.
At around £265k in the UK, the 812 is near the top end of the market, but is surely one of the most desirable grand tourers on the planet.
The Superfast was joined in 2019 by the GTS, with a removable targa roof.
