Profile

McLaren's inexorable march to the top of the supercar tree continues with the successor to the outgoing 650S, the awesome 720S.

McLaren claims the 720S is 90% new compared to the outgoing model, with the new P1 inspired 'Monocage II' carbon fibre tub forming the backbone of the new car. The 720S signals a new styling direction for the McLaren Super Series, with striking and functional lines, topped off with signature dihedral doors that now incorporate part of the roof. Interior trim comes in three flavours - standard, luxury and performance. Further enhancement is available through McLaren's MSO program.

With 720hp and weighing in at just 1283 Kg, Mclaren have achieved a class leading power to weight ratio, enabling a 0-200kmh sprint in just 7.5 seconds. Systems such as proactive chassis control and variable drift control ensure maximum progress around your favourite race track.

McLarens have always been fast and functional but used to lack that something special, but no longer! Following on from the path troden by the 675LT, the 720S is now a dynamic and emotional match for any Italian exotica. At £209000, form an orderly queue!
