Profile |
|
Although not a supercar in it's own right, AC Schnitzer's ACS8 'upgrade' visually transforms the base BMW i8 into a stylish, modern supercar to match any Italian exotica.
Enhancements include a choice of bespoke 21 inch alloys, lowered AC Schnitzer suspension and a plethora of new carbon fibre spoilers, skirts and wings. This gives the ACS8 a wide, agressive stance, partuclarly when accompanied by a modern satin wrap.
Mechanically the ACS8 is unchanged from the i8, which still means a decent 357bhp and a sub 5 sec 0-60mph (pergaps even faster due to the enhanced aerodynamics and lowered ride height). However, a tuned up version with somewhere north of 500bhp would have been a very desirable option.
The whole kit can be added to an existing BMW i8 for a mere £20k including fitting (in the UK).
