As with almost all Alfa Romeos, the new Giulia is both stylish and beautiful, but unlike some of it's predecessors, this Alfa has added performance, handling and reliability to it's long list of desirable attributes. This is all thanks to a huge investment program aimed at putting Alfa Romeo at the top of the market sector.
The range topping Quadrifoglio is the most powerful roadgoing Alfa ever at 503bhp, thanks to a a twin-turbo V6 derived from Ferrari's similar V8. This means a sub 4 second 0-60mph and 191mph.
A carbon fibre bonnet and active front splitter, plus adaptive dampers, torque vectoring and Magnetti Marelli chassis control, ensure fast and compliant handling, particularly in 'Dynamic' mode.
From £59k in the UK, the Giulia undercuts it's natural rivals from BMW and Mercedes, while offering more standard kit than either. In the Quadrifoglio, Alfa Romeo have finally produced a car that's more than a match for it's German rivals ... if only the rear seats folded!
