Profile

Porsche's 991 Turbo is given the full Techart treatment in the form of the 2017 GT Street R.

No less than 710 bhp has been extracted from the base twin-turbo flat 6 (up 180 bhp on stock), resulting in a scorching 2.5 sec 0-100 kmh launch. Expect a top speed somewhere over 210 mph and an estimated Nururgring lap of close to 7 minutes.

Vying with Gemballa for the title of most outrageous 911 bodywork, the GT Street is an aerodynamic vision of spoilers, skirts and wings. It's not all cosmetic though, as improved downforce and airflow is the result. Wheels of up to 21 inches in diameter complete the picture.

Available from 2016, with an expected price around the 215000 mark in the UK.
