Profile

Lamborghini describe their new Aventador S as an 'icon reborn'. Sounds a bit dramatic, but with an updated 740 hp V12, LDVA avtive aerodynamics and newly chiseled body, the Aventador has certainly now become a whole lot more desirable.

Now just 10 hp shy of the flagship SV, the S hits 0-200kmh in a mere 8.7 seconds on its way to a 217 mph max.

The redesigned exterior bodywork is matched by the high quality interior trim. With a unique 'Carbon Skin' finish, it features the very latest in computerised hi-tech displays with updated instrument panel graphics.

At around 270000, it is just 10k up on the previous Aventador LP700 and still a hefty 50k cheaper than the very similarly specced Aventador SV. All considered, this is probably the Aventador of choice right now.
