Porsche have taken the twin turbo V8 from the Panamera Turbo S and fused it with a 134bhp electric motor to produce the range topping 671bhp Panamera e-Hybrid.
It seems to have all the boxes ticked. Powerful (671bhp), fast (192mph and 0-60mph in under 3.5 sec), economical (up to 97mpg), good looking (ish), fully loaded (wi-Fi, ceramic brakes, air suspension) handles (4WD and optional 4WS through an 8 speed PDK) and practical. It's no lightweight though, at well over 5000 lbs and over 5 metres long, plus that fuel consumption figure would be hard to achieve in real world driving (although a realistic 40mpg+ is still respectible).
There can be little in it's class to match the Panamera at £137k. This could well be the most complete real world saloon that Porsche, or anyone else for that matter, have yet produced.
