Rolls Royce have created the ultimate in bespoke coachbuilt luxury cars with the one-off Sweptail coupe.
Commissioned by a (very) wealthy enthusiast, the Sweptail was four years in the making. Based on the Phantom coupe, complete with the 6.75 litre V12.
The bodywork is inspired by design cues from luxury yachts and has echoes of classic Rolls Royces from the past. The long sweeping rear tail being the most distinctive feature. Luxury touches include a solid aluminium front grille and bespoke panaoramic glass roof. The interior features a minimalist dashboard and is fashioned from the most exclusive materials available. The stand out feature being an automated champagne bottle dispenser!
At £10 million, this is the most expensive new car ever sold. For those in this marketplace, money does not appear to be a consideration.
