Formerly known as the M-Class, the near 600hp twin-turbo V8 dominates the GLE, sprinting from 0-60mph in just 4 seconds. 155mph is the max, or select the optional AMG Drivers Package to increase top speed to 175mph.
The GLE incorporates the new 'A-Wing' design philosophy, with dominant chromed front grille and integral AMG lettering, while huge 21 inch alloys emphasise the sporting intent. Air suspension and adaptive damping ensure a comfortable but sporty ride, while the Active Curve system allows flat cornering at speeds not normally associated with large SUVs.
A high quality interior trim features Nappa leather, Artico dashboard with aluminium and carbon fibre accents throughout. Mercedes latest COMAND system allows various driving modes and manual paddle shifting of the 7-speed auto transmission.
This SUV is bought for it's engine, but you do get quality, functionality and even handling, but so you should be at an asking price of almost £100k!
