Controversial looks and a controversial name, but the latest addition to McLaren's Ultimate Series, the Senna, is without doubt the fastest a-b supercar on the planet.

McLaren describe the Senna as the most track focused road car they have ever built, surpassing even the P1 GTR. The extreme aero modifications are testament to this. Downforce is epic (800kg at 155mph), but at the cost of style. The Senna is certainly function over form. But couple this active aero with RaceActive Chassis Control II and boosted carbon ceramic brakes, and you have what is surely the best road legal trackday car out there.

Power output is 800hp from the 4 litre twin-turbo V8. With a sub 1200kg body weight, the Senna sprint to 200kmh in a P1 matching 6.8 seconds.

We cannot wait to see the kind of lap times that the £750k Senna can produce. Nurburgring production record? A certainty. Nurburgring outright record? Who knows?
