Revealed in production form at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes' new AMG GT 4-Door is exactly what it says on the tin, a 4 door version of the AMG GT supercar.
Although named as an AMG GT, it has more in common with the CLS when it comes to layout and purpose. However, 4 wheel drive endows the 4-Door with some very AMG GT like performance. Using the same 4 litre V8 found in the E63S (but increased to a ridiculous 630bhp) the 4-Door sprints from 0-60mph in just 3.1 seconds - that's faster than a McLaren F1 ! Top speed is a 'mere' 196mph. These are unbelievable figures for a 2-ton four seater.
The model will officially launch late 2018, with the 'Edition 1', a limited run specification with exclusive interior and exterior design elements. Prices have yet to be announced, but expect somwhere in the Porsche Panamera ballpark of £120k.
